Paradise Foods Limited in Port Moresby is hiring a Quality Systems Coordinator to enhance food safety and quality management systems, ensuring compliance with industry standards.

Paradise Foods Limited is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Quality Systems Coordinator to join their Compliance (Quality) Department in Port Moresby. This role reports directly to the Quality Assurance Manager and focuses on maintaining and improving Quality Management and Food Safety Systems per regulatory and industry standards.

Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be expected to carry out the following key duties and contribute effectively to the overall objectives of the role and organisation.

  • Maintain and improve Quality Assurance, Quality Control, Food Safety, and OSHE standards.
  • Coordinate audits, inspections, and certification processes.
  • Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and quality standards.
  • Manage quality documentation and corrective actions.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives across manufacturing operations.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate should demonstrate the following education, experience, technical competencies, and professional attributes required to successfully perform this role.

  • Degree in Food Science, Food Technology, Quality Management, or a related field.
  • 3–5 years experience in quality assurance, food safety, or compliance.
  • Strong knowledge of HACCP, GMP, OSHE, and ISO standards.
  • Excellent auditing, analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Experience in FMCG manufacturing is highly desirable.
