EFM PNG is looking for a Customs Compiler to help prepare and compile customs entries for lodgment using the ASYCUDA system. The role involves import and export documentation and ensuring compliance with Customs regulations.

EFM PNG seeks a dedicated Customs Compiler to assist customs brokers by preparing and compiling customs entries using the ASYCUDA World system. This role requires attention to detail and knowledge of customs tariffs and import/export clearance processes.

Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be expected to carry out the following key duties and contribute effectively to the overall objectives of the role and organisation.

  • Prepare shipping documentation for customs clearance process (Import & Export)
  • Compile and classify customs entries for various clients and commodities
  • Liaise with appropriate government bodies regarding clearance of goods
  • Verify accuracy of entries prior to lodgment of customs entries
  • Ensure importers meet Customs regulatory requirements
  • Assist Client Service with draft entries and Customs Tariffs work, including validation, de-grouping, and checking MRN
  • Perform other duties as required

The ideal candidate should demonstrate the following education, experience, technical competencies, and professional attributes required to successfully perform this role.

  • Knowledge of Customs Tariffs
  • Knowledge of ASYCUDA WORLD
