PNG Forest Products Limited, a leading producer of plywood and timber products, is hiring a Marketing Communications Assistant based in Port Moresby. This role supports marketing communications across various PNG Forest Products brands, including Tropicair Limited and Tufi Resort, with a focus on branding, customer interaction, and coordination of promotions.

Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be expected to carry out the following key duties and contribute effectively to the overall objectives of the role and organisation.

  • Assist with brand activities across all divisions
  • Assist with the preparation of marketing and controlled documents
  • Assist with and coordinate marketing merchandise
  • Support events, promotions, and activities
  • Respond to customer and marketing inquiries via email and phone
  • Provide administrative support to the sales team
  • Maintain marketing and sales records

Qualifications

The ideal candidate should demonstrate the following education, experience, technical competencies, and professional attributes required to successfully perform this role.

  • Minimum Grade 12 qualification
  • Tertiary education in a related field
  • Strong written and verbal English skills
  • Confident, outgoing, and professional manner
  • Organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Proficient in Microsoft PowerPoint
  • Experience with Creative Suite design software is an advantage
