West Sepik Provincial Health Authority invites applications for casual positions of Internal Auditor and Partners Coordinator in Vanimo, PNG. Both roles require specialised degrees and relevant experience. Apply by 29th May 2026.

The West Sepik Provincial Health Authority is searching for qualified and experienced individuals for the positions of Internal Auditor and Partners Coordinator. The roles are casual and based in Vanimo, West Sepik Province, Papua New Guinea.

Internal Auditor: The ideal candidate should hold a degree in Accounting, Commerce, or a related field. Having a professional certification such as CPA is highly desirable. Experience in internal auditing, financial analysis, or public sector financial management is required, along with a deep understanding of the Public Finance Management Act (PFMA) 1995 and standard accounting procedures.

Partners Coordinator: Applicants should possess a degree in Health Science, Health Management, or Policy & Planning. Experience working with Non-Governmental Organizations (NGOs) is essential.

Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be expected to carry out the following key duties and contribute effectively to the overall objectives of the role and organisation.

  • Demonstrate proven experience in internal auditing, financial analysis, or public sector financial management.
  • Have a deep understanding of the PFMA (1995) and standard accounting procedures.
  • Show proven experience working with NGOs (Partners Coordinator role).

Qualifications

The ideal candidate should demonstrate the following education, experience, technical competencies, and professional attributes required to successfully perform this role.

  • Hold a degree in Accounting, Commerce, or related field for the Internal Auditor position.
  • Professional certification (e.g., CPA) is highly desirable for the Internal Auditor.
  • Hold a degree in Health Science, Health Management, or Policy & Planning for the Partners Coordinator position.
