Located in Kiunga, North Fly District, Western Province, KERACS offers services across electrical, refrigeration & air conditioning, building & carpentry, mechanical, welding, ICT, and labour hire sectors. With a strong presence in mining, petroleum, and government projects, the company is committed to integrity, teamwork, safety, accountability, and community empowerment.

Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be expected to carry out the following key duties and contribute effectively to the overall objectives of the role and organisation.

  • Erect power poles effectively and safely
  • Perform high and low voltage service line distribution project works
  • Lead and supervise teams on site to ensure project success

Qualifications

The ideal candidate should demonstrate the following education, experience, technical competencies, and professional attributes required to successfully perform this role.

  • Tradesman Certificate in Electrical Linesman
  • Minimum 5 years experience in power pole erection and service line distribution
  • Experience in mining and petroleum industries preferred
  • Good work ethics and ability to work under pressure
  • Supervisory and leadership experience
  • Valid driver’s licence
