2025 Bougainville Copper Foundation (BCF) Scholarship Program

The Bougainville Copper Foundation (BCF) board wishes to advise that applications for student scholarship support for 2025 are now open for acceptance.

As per 2024, the program is available to students who are normally a resident of Bougainville and who are attending/completing their 3rd, 4th or 5th years as students in undergraduate courses at tertiary Institutions within PNG.

Once again, the program is in a position to support only a limited number of students. Priority will be placed on those students from BCL’s exploration licence tenement area around Panguna, but students from other parts of Bougainville are still welcome to apply. Consideration will also be given to students with special needs.

BCF scholarships will cover tuition fees, accommodation, a book allowance, and pocket money Allowance. Travel/airfares is NOT included as part of the support provided. A copy of the application form is available from the BCL website https://www.bcl.com.pg/ from BCL offices in Port Moresby, Buka and Arawa.

Applications close on 6 December 2024 and can be lodged at BCL offices or by email or regular post mailed before the closing date. Email and post details are provided at the bottom of the application form.
