PNG CORE is hiring a Logistics Officer to play a key role in ensuring safe, reliable, and timely transportation services. This position supports daily operational and administrative work and requires assisting general office duties while maintaining company vehicle safety and compliance.

The Logistics Officer represents PNC CORE in interactions with staff, clients, and external stakeholders, demonstrating professionalism, punctuality, and attention to detail. Beyond driving, the role includes delivering documents and materials, running errands, and basic record-keeping, all while upholding company policies and confidentiality.

Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be expected to carry out the following key duties and contribute effectively to the overall objectives of the role and organisation.

  • Provide safe, reliable, and timely transportation to support daily operational and administrative activities
  • Assist with general office duties and ensure company vehicles are maintained and compliant with safety standards
  • Support staff mobility, deliver documents and materials
  • Contribute to smooth administrative functions
  • Maintain confidentiality and uphold company safety commitments

Qualifications

The ideal candidate should demonstrate the following education, experience, technical competencies, and professional attributes required to successfully perform this role.

  • Good communication skills
  • Strong time management and reliability
  • Ability to follow instructions and maintain confidentiality
  • Basic record-keeping and reporting skills
  • Professional attitude and service
  • Defensive driving training or certification (optional but preferred)
  • Basic mechanical knowledge (optional but preferred)
  • Familiarity with company policies and safety standards (optional but preferred)
  • Minimum Grade 10-12 certificate
  • 2-5 years proven driving experience
  • Valid driver’s license appropriate for company vehicles
  • Clean driving record with no serious violations
  • Good knowledge of local roads, routes, and traffic laws
