PNG Tribe Tech is hiring focused IT professionals in Port Moresby for roles in systems deployment and web development, driving a major IT infrastructure project.

PNG Tribe Tech is preparing for a major IT infrastructure and systems installation project and seeks two experienced, solution-driven professionals: an IT Systems & Field Deployment Officer and a Web Developer & Systems Administrator. This is a chance to speed a bulk rollout with precision and ownership.

The IT Systems & Field Deployment Officer will assist with hardware and software installations, network setups, and onsite troubleshooting, requiring strong practical hardware and networking experience and a proactive problem-solving mindset. The Web Developer & Systems Administrator will design, build, and maintain websites and manage core software environments and internal IT functions, requiring a solid WordPress/HTML portfolio, sharp software troubleshooting skills, and excellent organizational habits.

Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be expected to carry out the following key duties and contribute effectively to the overall objectives of the role and organisation.

  • Assist with end to end hardware installations & software installations, network setups, and onsite troubleshooting.
  • Design, build and maintain our websites and manage our core daily software environments, internal IT functions, and digital workflow.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate should demonstrate the following education, experience, technical competencies, and professional attributes required to successfully perform this role.

  • Strong practical experience with hardware/networking
  • Proactive attitude and ability to find practical solutions
