Goodman Fielder International in POM is hiring a Quality Assurance Officer to uphold product quality and compliance in the FMCG sector. Key roles include quality control, audits, and continuous improvement.
The Quality Assurance Officer at Goodman Fielder International is responsible for ensuring that all products meet company quality standards, comply with regulatory requirements, and satisfy customer expectations. This role supports continuous improvement initiatives by monitoring production processes and enforcing compliance with food safety and quality management systems in the FMCG industry.
Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be expected to carry out the following key duties and contribute effectively to the overall objectives of the role and organisation.
- Conduct quality control checks to maintain product standards
- Monitor compliance with food safety and quality regulations
- Maintain thorough documentation of processes and inspections
- Perform regular process audits to ensure adherence to QA protocols
- Support training programs for staff on quality and safety procedures
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality
Qualifications
The ideal candidate should demonstrate the following education, experience, technical competencies, and professional attributes required to successfully perform this role.
- Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Microbiology, Chemistry, or related field
- Minimum 2–3 years’ experience in QA/QC within FMCG or food manufacturing
- Familiarity with laboratory testing methods and equipment
- Proficient in MS Office and QA software systems
