Kumul Petroleum is hiring qualified Payroll Officers to join their team in Port Moresby. This role demands precision and expertise in payroll processing and general ledger reconciliation using Oracle Payroll or a similar system. Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be expected to carry out the following key duties and contribute effectively to the overall objectives of the role and organisation.

  • Process payroll accurately and timely using Oracle Payroll or similar systems.
  • Perform general ledger reconciliation related to payroll activities.
  • Apply knowledge of PNG Salary and Wages Tax and superannuation regulations in payroll processes.
  • Maintain confidentiality and ensure accuracy in managing payroll data.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate should demonstrate the following education, experience, technical competencies, and professional attributes required to successfully perform this role.

  • Certificate or Diploma in Accounting.
  • Minimum five years of payroll experience.
  • At least three years of general ledger reconciliation experience.
  • Experience with Oracle Payroll or a similar payroll system.
  • Strong knowledge of PNG Salary and Wages Tax and superannuation requirements.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and ability to maintain confidentiality.
