Bilas Studio in Port Moresby seeks a friendly and organized Receptionist & Stock Controller to manage front desk operations and salon stock effectively. Join a dynamic beauty and wellness team!

Bilas Studio invites applications for the position of Receptionist & Stock Controller who will be the welcoming face of the salon and manage important operational tasks to keep the studio running smoothly.

As part of a team focused on hair, beauty, nails, and wellness, the successful candidate will combine excellent customer service with stock management skills.

Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be expected to carry out the following key duties and contribute effectively to the overall objectives of the role and organisation.

  • Welcome clients and manage the front desk
  • Handle bookings, calls, messages and payments
  • Keep reception tidy and running smoothly
  • Control salon stock: count, record, reorder and report on products and supplies

Qualifications

The ideal candidate should demonstrate the following education, experience, technical competencies, and professional attributes required to successfully perform this role.

  • Previous reception experience (priority given to experienced receptionists)
  • Good communication and customer service skills
  • Honest, punctual and well presented
  • Confident with basic computer work and record keeping
  • Stock control or inventory experience is an advantage
