Paradise Foods Limited is looking for a skilled HR Business Partner to join their team in Lae, Papua New Guinea. This position plays a crucial role in aligning human resource strategies with business goals in the Food Manufacturing industry, driving performance, and nurturing a positive workplace culture.
Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be expected to carry out the following key duties and contribute effectively to the overall objectives of the role and organisation.
- Collaborate with senior leaders to develop and implement HR strategies aligned with business objectives
- Provide insights on workforce planning, organisational design, and talent requirements
- Act as a trusted advisor on all people-related matters
- Support recruitment strategies for key roles
- Drive performance management processes including goal setting, reviews, and feedback
- Identify high-potential employees and support succession planning
- Manage and resolve complex employee relations issues
- Ensure fair and consistent application of company policies
- Promote and maintain a positive workplace culture
- Lead change management initiatives
- Support leadership development and coaching
- Identify training and development needs across the business
- Analyse HR data to support decision-making
- Provide regular reports and insights to senior leadership
- Ensure compliance with labour laws and company policies
- Review, update, and implement HR policies as required
Qualifications
The ideal candidate should demonstrate the following education, experience, technical competencies, and professional attributes required to successfully perform this role.
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (desirable)
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in a similar HR role, preferably in the FMCG industry
- Strong knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution abilities
- Ability to influence and build relationships with stakeholders at all levels
