Key Responsibilities

• Plan, organise and direct company-wide operations in PNG.
• Set company objectives and collaborate with senior personnel to execute strategies.
• Develop and monitor long-term plans.
• Ensure profitability with strong financial management.
• Prepare board reports, monthly profit & loss accounts, and annual budgets.
• Manage senior staff recruitment, training, and performance.
• Implement company policies and oversee regulatory compliance.
• Engage with government and local councils for negotiations and collaboration.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• Minimum 10 years managerial experience in timber or similar diversified industries.
• Proven sales and marketing expertise.
• Business management qualifications relevant to the industry or related technical fields.
• Strong management, communication skills, and ability to work under pressure.
• Methodical work habits.
• Experience in timber or sawmill management, especially ply/veneer manufacturing, is advantageous.
