Nestlé is seeking an Executive to lead Electrical & Automation maintenance for manufacturing lines ensuring safety, reliability, and performance. This role drives factory automation excellence in the food manufacturing sector.

The Executive – Engineering – E&A role at Nestlé is vital for managing the electrical and automation maintenance of high-speed noodle and chocolate manufacturing lines. The position ensures no unplanned downtime, safe and reliable electricity supply across low to high voltage installations, and supports manufacturing optimization through Factory Automation Systems, Process Control Systems, and Manufacturing Execution Systems.

This role collaborates with production, warehouse, quality assurance, and auxiliary services for achieving full customer satisfaction and operational excellence.

Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be expected to carry out the following key duties and contribute effectively to the overall objectives of the role and organisation.

  • Define, propose and monitor plans and objectives for the electrical team following Nestlé Engineering policies.
  • Implement and optimize work processes and procedures for the electrical & automation team.
  • Lead, coordinate, and motivate the electrical & automation team to achieve objectives.
  • Manage and control electrical & automation budgets and capital projects.
  • Ensure workplace safety and promote communication on Safety, Health, and Environment (SHE).
  • Maintain high availability and efficiency of high-speed manufacturing lines.
  • Guarantee technical integrity and safety of electrical energy supply and distribution.
  • Coordinate with Safety Officers and management on electrical safety and compliance.
  • Supervise maintenance and project work for electricians, automation technicians, and contractors.
  • Efficiently manage electrical & automation documentation and data.
  • Maintain equipment per Nestlé Maintenance Strategy using Consequence Driven Maintenance (CDM).
  • Monitor plant and equipment performance to minimize downtime.
