Coral Sea Hotels’ Hospitality Division offers an exciting chance to join a well-reputed, fast-growing team across Papua New Guinea. The Employee Services Officer role at Grand Papua Hotel supports payroll and HR processes, ensuring accurate, confidential, and compliant employee services while promoting engagement and smooth hotel operations.
Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be expected to carry out the following key duties and contribute effectively to the overall objectives of the role and organisation.
- Provide operational Human Resources and payroll administration support
- Coordinate recruitment and onboarding processes
- Manage payroll support and workforce administration
- Handle employee records management and day-to-day HR services
- Serve as a key contact for employees and managers on HR matters
- Support performance management activities and attendance monitoring
- Assist in employee movements and policy administration
- Promote employee engagement and maintain accurate HR documentation
- Ensure compliance with HR policies and procedures
Qualifications
The ideal candidate should demonstrate the following education, experience, technical competencies, and professional attributes required to successfully perform this role.
- Diploma or Degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or related field
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in HR, payroll administration, or employee services
- Strong knowledge of recruitment, onboarding, payroll support, and employee records management
- Experience using HR and payroll systems
- Sound understanding of PNG Labour Laws and HR policy compliance
- Strong organisational, communication, and interpersonal skills
- High attention to detail and integrity in handling sensitive information
