This role is critical to managing the safe transportation of Dangerous Goods (DG) and overseeing Over-Dimensional (OD) convoy operations. Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be expected to carry out the following key duties and contribute effectively to the overall objectives of the role and organisation.
- Manage Dangerous Goods (DG) and Over-Dimensional (OD) convoy operations
Qualifications
The ideal candidate should demonstrate the following education, experience, technical competencies, and professional attributes required to successfully perform this role.
- Certificate/Diploma in Dangerous Goods Management, Logistics, or Supply Chain
- 2+ years’ experience in DG transportation and OD convoy escorting
- Valid Class 4/6 PNG Driver’s License
- Proven knowledge of cyanide management and relevant training certification
- Background in discipline forces or similar roles preferred
- Sound understanding of safety and DG compliance procedures
