PNG DataCo is looking for a Business Support Systems and Database Analyst who will play a vital role in analyzing and improving business processes, supporting system integrations, and driving digital solutions across the organization.
Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be expected to carry out the following key duties and contribute effectively to the overall objectives of the role and organisation.
- Analyze and document business processes, requirements and workflows to support operational improvement.
- Assist with system integrations, testing, reporting and delivery of digital solutions.
- Support user acceptance testing, issue resolution, training and end-user documentation.
- Work with stakeholders and vendors on automation, enhancement and transformation initiatives.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate should demonstrate the following education, experience, technical competencies, and professional attributes required to successfully perform this role.
- Bachelor’s degree in information systems, Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Information Systems or a related field.
- 2–3 years’ experience in systems analysis, business analysis, ICT support, application support or similar roles.
- Experience in process mapping, requirements gathering and stakeholder engagement.
- Exposure to APIs, databases, SQL, reporting tools or cloud-based business applications.
- Experience with workflow automation or digital transformation, including Microsoft Power Automate or similar platforms.
- Strong skills in business process analysis and documentation.
- Ability in systems integration and digital solution support.
- Strong problem solving, communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Collaboration, adaptability and project coordination abilities.
