The Fred Hollows Foundation seeks a motivated Project Lead PNG to drive community-level climate resilience projects in Papua New Guinea, focusing on health and infrastructure improvements in Simbu and Madang Provinces.

The Fred Hollows Foundation is inviting applications for an experienced Project Lead to manage its Building Community-Level Climate Resilience (BCCR) project. This fixed-term contract (18 months to 2 years) involves leading initiatives that boost climate resilience within communities, specifically via health facility upgrades and resilience programs in Simbu and Madang Provinces. This role demands collaboration with local government, communities, and stakeholders to enhance health service delivery and sustainable impact.

Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be expected to carry out the following key duties and contribute effectively to the overall objectives of the role and organisation.

  • Manage the implementation of the Building Community-Level Climate Resilience (BCCR) project
  • Oversee climate-resilient health facility upgrades
  • Implement community resilience initiatives
  • Collaborate with government partners, local communities, and stakeholders to improve health service delivery
