UNICEF Papua New Guinea is recruiting an International UN Volunteer Specialist for the role of Monitoring, Evaluation and Reporting (MER) Specialist based in Port Moresby. This position supports the KOICA-funded climate programme portfolio by coordinating monitoring, evaluation, and reporting activities including progress consolidation, performance tracking, and donor reporting.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support monitoring, evaluation, and reporting (MER) functions for the KOICA-funded climate programme portfolio

  • Prepare reports for donors and stakeholders

Required Qualifications and Skills

  • Master’s degree in Development Studies, Monitoring and Evaluation, Statistics, Project Management, International Development, Climate Change, Environmental Studies, Public Policy, Social Sciences, or related field
  • Experience in monitoring, evaluation, and reporting (M&E/MER) within development programmes
  • Strong skills in data analysis, monitoring, and results tracking
