UNAIDS is inviting applications for the position of Assistant, Office Administration (G5) based in Port Moresby, Papua New Guinea. This is a 12-month fixed-term appointment within the UNAIDS Papua New Guinea Country Office, under the Asia and Pacific Regional Support Team.
This role supports UNAIDS’ mission to end AIDS as a public health threat by 2030. The Assistant will be responsible for general office administration, supporting programme implementation, and managing financial transactions. This includes organizing meetings, maintaining records, coordinating travel, supporting financial reporting, and liaising with partners.

- Annual Salary: PGK 55,662 (net, single rate)
Requirements:
- Education: Completion of secondary education (post-secondary training is an asset).
- Experience: At least 5 years in office administration, with financial experience preferred.
- Languages: Proficiency in English and Tok Pisin.
- Eligibility: Open to Papua New Guinea nationals or valid residents with a work permit.
