Last week, the Oro Provincial Administration announced 281 open positions to fill by any qualified and interested Papua New Guinean. Today, the Central Provincial Government (CPG) officially opened its doors to qualified professionals and firms to be part of an exciting and transformative initiative — the Central City Development Project (CCDP). This project represents a major milestone for Papua New Guinea’s Central Province as it lays the foundation for a modern seat of government, sustainable infrastructure, and inclusive economic growth.

The Central City Development Project is a flagship initiative by the Central Provincial Government designed to establish the new seat of government for Central Province. Beyond administrative development, the project envisions creating major infrastructure and land development opportunities that will benefit communities across the province for generations to come.

Contract Details

Successful applicants will serve for a 12-month term as part of the Project Steering Committee, working closely with the Provincial Administrator and the Provincial Executive Council’s CCDP Subcommittee to deliver on strategic development goals.

1. 🏗️ Urban Development Technical Advisor
   Provide expert guidance on city planning, land use, and sustainable infrastructure.
2. 💰 Project Accountant
   Oversee financial management, reporting, and compliance for project funds.
3. 💡 Investment Advisor
   Support strategic partnerships, investment planning, and economic growth strategies.
4. ⚖️ Legal & Government Policy Specialist
   Offer legal oversight and ensure policy compliance across the project lifecycle.
