Bahma is seeking qualified supervisor mining and various technicians for various roles in an upcoming shutdown within the mining sector. Opportunities include Mechanical Fitter Supervisors, Boilermaker Supervisors, Mechanical Fitter Technicians, Boilermaker Technicians, Roller Technicians, and Confined Space Controllers. Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be expected to carry out the following key duties and contribute effectively to the overall objectives of the role and organisation.

  • Supervise Mechanical Fitters to ensure work quality and safety.
  • Supervise Boilermakers during shutdown operations.
  • Perform Mechanical Fitter tasks with precision and adherence to safety standards.
  • Perform Boilermaker duties effectively.
  • Carry out Roller Technician functions efficiently.
  • Manage and control confined spaces ensuring safety compliance.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate should demonstrate the following education, experience, technical competencies, and professional attributes required to successfully perform this role.

  • Updated CV with references and point of hires to verify experience.
  • Provide evidence of relevant qualifications and completed trainings.
  • Demonstrated shutdown experience in a related role is essential.
  • Valid Police Clearance is required.
  • Valid Medical Clearance needed before appointment.
  • Copies of IDs and applicable permits must be submitted.
