The Clinton Health Access Initiative (CHAI) is offering a full-time position for a Monitoring & Evaluation (M&E) Officer based in Port Moresby, Papua New Guinea. This important role supports the Child Nutrition and Social Protection Project by ensuring robust data monitoring, evaluation, and reporting to improve program performance and impact in Madang Province.

Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement M&E frameworks and project data systems
- Monitor key performance indicators in health facilities, communities, and Village Health Authorities (VHAs)
- Conduct baseline, midline, and endline assessments to track progress
- Lead comprehensive data analysis, reporting, and the creation of dashboards and presentations
- Build capacity of health staff and community partners in M&E practices
- Ensure alignment and integration with national health information systems
Required Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Public Health, Statistics, Economics, Social Sciences, or a related field
- At least 5 years of experience in monitoring and evaluation, preferably in health or nutrition programs
- Strong skills in data management, analysis, and reporting
- Experience with data tools such as KoBo, ODK, SPSS, Stata, or R
- Willingness to travel to rural and remote project locations
