The Papua New Guinea University of Natural Resources and Environment (PNGUNRE) is seeking an experienced ICT Manager to lead strategic initiatives in information and communication technology across all campuses. This role is crucial in shaping the digital future of the University by implementing and managing effective ICT systems that enhance both administrative and academic functions. The successful candidate will exhibit strong leadership and ensure the comprehensive integration of technology to support teaching, research, and institutional goals.

Requirements

  • Provide strategic leadership in the design, implementation, and maintenance of ICT infrastructure and systems.
  • Ensure the reliability, security, and accessibility of networks, servers, and online learning platforms.
  • Supervise and develop ICT and Library staff to maintain high-quality support services.
  • Manage ICT budgets, contracts, and procurement in accordance with university and public sector standards.
  • Develop, implement, and enforce ICT policies, procedures, and service standards.
  • Ensure compliance with information security and data protection requirements.
  • Support University-wide capacity building and digital literacy initiatives.
