UNOPS seeks engineering consulting firms for a Health Facility Audit project in Papua New Guinea using digital tools and real-time data to improve health services in remote communities.

UNOPS is inviting engineering consulting firms with expertise in health facility audits, infrastructure condition assessments, and engineering design to participate in a cutting-edge project aimed at strengthening Papua New Guinea’s national health system. This project innovatively combines traditional audit methods with the latest digital audit tools and real-time data platforms across Simbu, Central, and East Sepik provinces.

Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be expected to carry out the following key duties and contribute effectively to the overall objectives of the role and organisation.

  • Contribute to improving health service delivery in remote communities
  • Work with digital platforms and structured data systems for decision-making
  • Be part of a project aligned with global development priorities and innovation in infrastructure planning
  • Engage in work that blends engineering, public health, and digital transformation

Qualifications

The ideal candidate should demonstrate the following education, experience, technical competencies, and professional attributes required to successfully perform this role.

  • Experience in health facility audit
  • Condition assessment of infrastructure
  • Engineering design projects
