The Institute

The Institute is seeking two dynamic and experienced Centre Managers to oversee operations at its Momase Regional Center in Bubia and Southern Regional Center in Laloki. The selected candidates will play a crucial role in managing centre operations while providing strategic leadership and ensuring effective implementation of plans. The role involves daily collaboration with the Research Team Leader and functional reporting to the Director of Institutional Services and Systems.

Requirements

  • Develop and implement comprehensive centre management plans and land use strategies.
  • Conduct monthly evaluations and reporting to enhance visibility and effectiveness of NARI research facilities and livestock areas.
  • Manage centre administration and ancillary staff, ensuring compliance with NARI’s management standards.
  • Oversee the maintenance of all research facilities and farm machinery, ensuring they remain in excellent condition.
  • Prepare and manage centre budgets, ensuring adherence to financial management procedures.
  • Foster strong relationships with surrounding communities and stakeholders to promote NARI’s mission and visibility.
  • Secure the center by maintaining peace and good order, and uphold high standards of governance.
  • Demonstrate leadership by mentoring staff and fostering a culture of good governance.
